Simple, scope-based pricing

Quite a lot, actually. You can run PCRiskPro on your own device for as long as you like — no card, no trial timer. You'll see the first 20 files containing sensitive data, the top 2 vulnerabilities for each installed application, and complete results from the Cyber Essentials and System Security checks. It's plenty to get a feel for whether PCRiskPro fits your needs. When you'd like to see the full picture, run exports, or scan beyond your own device, that's when a paid tier makes sense.

We thought about pricing the way most tools do, by seat count, and it didn't quite fit. Someone scanning one laptop genuinely has different needs from someone managing fifty client environments. So instead, our tiers map to what you're scanning — local folders, personal OneDrive, business cloud, multi-tenant — and you pick the tier that matches. You only pay for the scope you actually use.

Anything synced from your Microsoft 365 workspace — SharePoint document libraries, OneDrive for Business (your work or school account), and Microsoft Teams file storage. PCRiskPro picks these up automatically from your system's settings, so there's nothing to configure. If you pick a business cloud folder while on Solo or Professional Licence, we'll gently let you know which tier covers it before the scan starts.

A tenant is one Microsoft 365 organisation — usually one company. The Enterprise Licence covers all the devices in a single organisation, while the Partner Licence covers up to five separate organisations (which is what most MSPs need). If you're supporting more than five clients, drop us a line at sales@pcriskpro.com and we'll put together a custom licence that fits.

Absolutely. You can upgrade any time — your existing licence key just unlocks the new capabilities, no need to re-activate anything. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal, so you keep the higher tier until then. If you decide to cancel mid-term, we don't pro-rate refunds (the legal small print is in EULA §6.4), but you keep full access right up to the end of your subscription period.

PCRiskPro simply reverts to the Free Edition — and your previous scan results stay safely on your device. If you re-subscribe within 30 days, we'll keep you on your original tier price (including any founding-customer rate). After 30 days, you'd re-subscribe at the current standard rate.

You have a 14-day cooling-off period under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. If PCRiskPro isn't right for you, just email support@pcriskpro.com within that window and we'll sort out a refund — no awkward forms or hoops. Right after your purchase, we'll email your licence key — it's a 19-character code in the format XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Open PCRiskPro, head to Settings → Licence, paste in your key, and click Activate. A short consent dialog will appear asking you to confirm you've read the End User Licence Agreement and Privacy Policy — both boxes need to be ticked, it's a quick read. From then on, the licence is paired with that computer. If you ever need to move to a different machine, just click Deactivate on the old one and re-activate on the new one.

Yes — alongside the Free Edition (which is unlimited and forever), we run an Evaluation Programme for organisations that would like to test the paid features properly before committing. You sign a mutual Evaluation NDA with us, we issue a licence key at the tier you're evaluating, and you have 30 days to put it through its paces on your own systems. If you convert within 14 days of the evaluation ending, you get 30% off your first 12 months as a thank-you for being an early adopter.
